Annie has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, originally training as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, before working in corporate finance in London. For nearly 15 years, Annie has worked in the trust, fund and corporate services field, first in the British Virgin Islands, and more in recently Geneva, Switzerland, with a focus on value-added trustee services. Having enjoyed a previous period with Rawlinson and Hunter in 2002, Annie has recently returned to the British Virgin Islands to re-join the Company. Annie is a graduate of Cambridge University, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Expertise

Reset Filters Derek Rawlings Managing Partner +1 (284) 393 5400 derek.rawlings@bvi.rawlinson-hunter.com Derek is a Partner in the British Virgin Islands office, undertaking directorship, trust and company administration duties for a wide range of clients. Derek also specialises in providing valuation and advisory services to clients in the BVI and around the world. Derek has been involved in corporate finance and valuation work for over around 18 years, advising public and private companies, and their owners, across a multitude of sectors. His experience enables him to bring a unique perspective to his role in the BVI, which is particularly valued by investment businesses and others conducting transactional work. Derek has been with Rawlinson & Hunter since 2004, having previously been a Partner in the London office. Before this, Derek spent seven years at Investec Investment Banking where he was a Director of Corporate Finance, moving there shortly after qualifying with KPMG. Derek is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of various valuation and corporate finance faculties and has written and spoken on the subject of valuations many times. Derek is a full member of STEP, having won awards for achieving the individual top score worldwide in three out of his four papers for the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (Trust Creation: Law & Practice; Company Law & Practice; and Trustee Investment & Financial Appraisal) as well as the overall top score worldwide.
